Colored Eyebrows 101: A Fast-Growing Fashion Trend

If you’d told me, just a few months ago, that one day I’d want to get colored eyebrows, I would have told you that you were mad as a hatter. Me, who wouldn’t touch bleaching products with a barge pole? Color a part of my face that’s so close to my eyes? Well… yes.

What happened, you wonder? Gucci happened. Or rather, I had a second look at Gucci’s Spring Summer 2017 fashion show, featuring white, light pink, and yellow eyebrows. And I fell for them. Hard. This ethereal, fresh look is perfect for summer and to remove the “hardness” that dark arches can give to a face. And I’m happy to confirm that my new obsession has been ratified for the Fall Winter 2017-2018 season, as recent fashion shows have featured blue, green, and orange eyebrows… so much beauty! Some final good news: colored mascaras are all the rage right now, so it’s super easy to experiment with these looks without having to permanently color your eyebrows – for the time being.
