BEST PICTURE – GREEN BOOK
Winner of 3 Academy Awards, Green Book is the traditional American movie, that tells a story that goes beyond cliches and diversities. The friendship between a doorman and a talented pianist ready to leave for his American tour, is the background of a touching and at the same time hilarious affair. Based on a true story, Green Book is not only the metaphor of a trip through racial bias but it carries a powerful message: the bromance that overlaps any limit.
ACTOR IN A LEADING ROLE – RAMI MALEK
An announced victory, the one of the talented Rami. His interpretation of Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rapsody convinced even the most critical passionates of the Queen‘s band. An unprecedented introspective ability together with a detailed study of one of the greatest frontman’s personality of our history, left no competition with a moving and awasome result. Chapeu!
ACTRESS IN A LEADING ROLE – OLIVIA COLMAN
In the perfect interpretation of Queen Anne, Olivia Colman in The Favourite portrays the temperamental ruler of Great Britain whose devious courtiers joust for her favor and political power during the early 1700s. Convincing her courtiers in the movie and a unanimous public at the Oscars, rewarding the talent of an extraordinary spot-on actress.
MUSIC ORIGINAL SONG – LADY GAGA (SHALLOW)
No doubts about the announced victory of the wonderful Gaga with the song Shallow. Not only the confirmation of sublime drama skills, but a big award that, maybe, she felt more than the others: a little bit to reconfirm her professional path, a little bit to crown her the absolute music queen.
