The tweet published by rapper Kanye West announcing his candidacy for the US 2020 presidential election is only yesterday. After supporting the current president and candidate for re-election Donald Trump, Kanye announced “Now must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I’m running for president of the United States! ”
Needless to say, the news shocked the fans of the singer and not, although rumours about a hypothetical candidacy had been around for some time. But the news has not only found the support of fans of The Life Of Pablo but also of protagonists of the world market such as Elon Musk, founder of Tesla and SpaceX. At the moment West and the (perhaps) future first lady Kim Kardashian, have not provided any further details on the steps that will be taken to implement the candidacy, but yes it is time to face it, can you imagine them at the White House?
It is not the first time that we have seen the two star guests at the most spied house in the world, no it is not that of Big Brother. The Kardashian-West had previously been guests of current President Donald Trump to discuss prison reform and renew their support. The meeting at the time had been somewhat bizarre as the rapper presented himself wearing the Trumpian red cap “make America great again” and addressing the president with words … very confidential let’s say so. When asked by a reporter about West’s possible presidency, Trump would have responded at the time “It could be very well!” Will he still think so? While waiting to discover the implications of this incredible candidacy, we had fun imagining the Kardashian-Wests in the White House during some routine diplomatic meetings. Let’s say that between improbable looks made of tight-fitting total leather suits and transparencies on one side, and sweatpants used on every occasion and forever on the other, perhaps the time has come for the two to change their look or why not to overturn the costume traditions at the White House! Are you ready?
