Louise Roe Tells Us About Her Pixi Beauty Palette

Bubbly, energetic and incredibly cool, Louise Roe made us fall in love already at the time of The City, showing off her beauty and fashion looks on the streets of Manhattan, always on the cutting edge. Today, after helping us for years to get rid of the Plain Jane hidden in each of us, Louise Roe lands in the beauty market in collaboration with Pixi. Pixi Pretties is in fact the collection created by the super-loved beauty brand and its founder Petra Strand, in collaboration with four real beauty gurus: Makeup By Denise, Louise Roe, Promise and Tina Yong. The collection represents the fourth appointment of the highly anticipated collaborations with Pixi Pretties, and features 4 unmissable palettes perfect for every Mix & Match fan! We fell in love with Louise Roe’s Palette Cream Rouge lips & cheeks. The Cream Rouge Palette is versatile, very comfortable and suitable for any occasion! presents 25 shades with creamy textures, to be able to mix to create the most suitable shade for every look. Thanks to the multipurpose formula, Cream Rouge is ideal for adding a touch of color to the lips and face, and is super handy to take with you even for last-minute touch-ups! What does Louise think? Listen to what she told us here!

TBS: Louise we’re your true, loyal fans since the “Plain Jane” times, how did switch from fashion to beauty?

LOUISE: Thank you! I think the two are very linked, and I always wrote about beauty on my blog, www.LouiseRoe.com, so makeup and skincare has always been very important to me.

TBS: Why did you choose the brand Pixi for your debut in the beauty industry? What do you have in common?

LOUISE: The founder, Petra, is an incredible woman with a brilliant vision – she wants to empower women and give them confidence through these products, her ethos is to have fun with makeup, look after your skin, and not spend a fortune while doing it. I could not agree more. The products themselves just really work!

TBS: What can you tell us about your incredible Pixi Cream Rouge Palette?

LOUISE: I am so excited about it! Women don’t have time to spend hours doing their makeup, so I wanted a one-stop-shop. Meaning, you can mix your own colours with my palette, find what suits your complexion, and use it on your lips, cheeks and even eyelids. There are 25 colours, so you get a lot in one palette, and the aim was to create a creamy texture that is very natural, but stays on your skin the entire day. I’m thrilled with how it turned out.

TBS: You’re an undisputed fashion icon, what is your fav shade of the palette and how would you match it?

LOUISE: Putty! I use it on my cheeks every day, and I mix it with Smooch for a great lip colour – I created mini tutorials on my IG highlight reel, @LouiseRoe

TBS: What is the most important thing that you look for when it deals with makeup?

LOUISE: Ingredients need to nurture your skin, not dry it out, and this palette includes Vitamin E and Rosehip oil to really hydrate and sooth. Plus, the pigments need to be flattering, which I believe they are!
