In collaboration with Maison TAMBOITE Paris, Louis Vuitton retraces its historical archive for an unpublished and already desired product, the LV Bike. Maison TAMBOITE, an artisan bicycle manufacturer based in Paris since 1912, is the ally selected by the Maison Vuitton to lay the foundations for a new horizon in which fashion and sport are still inextricably linked.
Perfect both for an adventure in the city and for a trip to discover the countryside, LV Bike is a spring invitation to rejoin nature, to discover the territories and do good for the environment … keeping fit! Reinterpretation of the classic model of Maison TAMBOITE Paris, the first LV bicycle blends the values common to both Houses with a unique savoir-faire in leather and wood processing. LV Bike is not just a bicycle, but a real design object handmade in Paris. LV Bike starts from the historic model of TAMBOITE, made of painted and chromed steel, stretched and lightened for a fluid and agile pedaling, mixing it with the key codes of the maison such as the flower of the logo and the LV signature. The leather, selected by master tanners, wraps the saddle, handlebars and cables while the luggage rack, frame and basket are decorated in precious canvas with the Louis Vuitton logo.
The LV Bike, however, hides some details yet to be discovered! The wood used for the mudguard rims sports the Louis Vuitton graphic signature, while the saddle, in leather and with logo, not only has a sophisticated charm but also shock-absorbing properties thanks to the springs that guarantee greater comfort. Furthermore, for the safety of the bike itself and of those who use it, the LV Bike is equipped with an integrated tracker that allows you to monitor the position of the bicycle in real time via the app. But that’s not all yet! LV Bike is also perfect for evening outings, thanks to the LED lights mounted under the saddle and the luggage rack, in a design that inspires dynamism and elegance in every part.
The LV Bike is available in four models, both with horizontal and diagonal frames, equipped with two-speed transmission. The classic model comes with a bright red saddle, made of the iconic Mahina leather, perforated with the Louis Vuitton codes. The Damier Graphite model instead mixes shades of black and gray with bright yellow leather details. The eye-catching Lime Yellow bicycle, as well as the one in Damier Graphite can be Monogram, they can all be customized with your initials on the frame or by hot-stamping your initials under the saddle. The LV Bike is also available in the new Monogram “Since 1854” created by Nicolas Ghesquière, Artistic Director of the women’s collections. This version can also be customized with your initials under the saddle. Are you ready to set out for new horizons with LV Bike?
