A sense of family and empathy are the values told by the new Tod’s Generations campaign. Chiara Ferragni, her mother Marina Di Guardo and her sisters Valentina and Francesca translate and personify the new generations who bear the emblematic values of the all-Italian lifestyle.
Tod’s and Chiara Ferragni therefore collaborate, once again, in a communication project that tells and documents private moments, gestures, encounters from the daily life of two generations of women. The common thread of this romantic and emotional tale is the iconic Tod’s “rubber”, ally of everyday life and handed down from generation to generation.
The story comes to life in the setting of a typically Italian villa on Lake Como, where Ferragni come into contact with timeless Tod’s objects that go beyond fashion and age, such as the traditional moccasin and the Bow Bag. Three generations of women who symbolize the dual personality of the brand: tradition and modernity.
“Il Gommino is one of the icons of Italian taste, I remember it from my childhood and I like the idea that it is a timeless classic to be handed down from generation to generation”, said Chiara Ferragni who with Tod’s has decided to make a donation to Bambini delle Fate, a non-profit organization that supports education for families with children with autism or other disabilities.
