This month of the year everything i it’s rainbow. Starting back in 1969, when on the night of 27-28 June, police violently raided the famous Stonewall Inn in New York’s Greenwich Village, today we celebrate Pride Month. In fact, this event symbolically represents the birth of the contemporary LGBT movement. There are many opportunities for reflection during this month of the year, including concerts, limited editions and brand proposals to raise awareness of the issue so that greater inclusivity and more rights for the entire community can be achieved. Pantene is the spokesperson for the message “Hair Has No Gender”, a campaign mainly focused on the concepts of inclusion and diversity. The protagonists are more or less well-known faces from the LGBTQIAP+ community, who through the story of their work experiences help us understand how necessary it is that concepts such as inclusion and respect at work are strongly taken into account. As Pantene is a Swiss hair care company, also in this campaign the focus will be on them, on how they can be the main object of freedom of expression.
SPAIN, CANADA, UNITED KINGDOM AND GERMANY, THE “HAIR HAS NO GENDER” CAMPAIGN ARRIVES IN ITALY TOO
The protagonists of the campaign include lawyer and influencer Caty La Torre (aka Avvocathy), model and influencer Erica Mattina and Silvano Caso, an employee of Procter & Gamble Italia. Through the stories told by each talent, one understands how necessary it is for the workplace to be a serene place, a place where one can feel understood and included on a daily basis. The message to be spread is that a professional’s talent, ability, and skill cannot be conditioned by his or her gender and sexual orientation. The faces mentioned above are joined by Drusilla Foer, the artist who with her intelligence and elegant irony will help spread this message. In addition, Pantene and P&G are committed to making working contexts more and more pleasant, sensitive to all these issues, dissociating themselves from all types of discrimination
