If you’ve been active enough on social media in recent weeks, you’ve surely happened to see Sarah Michelle Gellar visiting Milan. An icon of the 1990s known worldwide for playing Buffy the Vampire Slayer, today the actress returns to the small screen in the highly anticipated series Wolf Pack, available on Paramount+.
Based on the book series by Edo Van Belkom, Wolf Pack follows a teenage boy and girl whose lives change forever when a California wildfire awakens a terrifying supernatural creature and prompts it to attack a highway traffic jam beneath the burning hills. Injured in the chaos, the boy and girl are inexplicably drawn to each other and two other teenagers who were adopted 16 years earlier by a park ranger after another mysterious fire. As the full moon rises, all four teens come together to unravel the secret that binds them: the bite and blood of a werewolf.
Sarah Michelle Gellar plays Kristin Ramsay, the lead detective investigating the very origin of this unprecedented fire. The dose of the supernatural pleases lovers of the fantasy genre without ever overdoing it, but more importantly it prompts the more curious to understand what ties Ramsay to the events and the two teenagers. A true comeback in a big way that of Sarah Michelle Gellar – long awaited by the most fanatical fans of cult TV series such as Buffy – that promises twists and turns. The series is written and produced by Jeff Davis with Sarah Michelle Gellar in the dual role of actress and co-executive producer. Wolf Pack is now available in its original version with Italian subtitles but will be available dubbed from June.
