Daniel Roseberry has once again demonstrated his ability to perfectly interpret the legacy of one of the world’s most beloved and historic fashion houses, founded by Elsa Schiaparelli. The designer, born in Texas 33 years ago, studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and built a respectable career alongside Thom Browne, with whom he collaborated for more than 10 years. In 2019, she began her adventure with Schiaparelli, writing a new style course that combines art, fashion and surrealism.
Yesterday, at Paris Fashion Week, the fashion house presented its Fall/Winter 2023 collection. It is the first non-digital ready-to-wear collection presented in presence.
Roseberry’s imagery is presented to the public with a complete wardrobe, ranging from poplin shirts to short velvet cocktail dresses, with a wide variety of emblematic accessories and footwear. The young couturier has faithfully maintained the aesthetic created over the past three years, characterised by keyhole-shaped gold buttons, anatomical references and tailor’s tape details, symbols of a well-defined imagery. Instead, among the bags, we recognise without doubt the Face Bag and a new bag called Schiap Bag, a quilted baguette with unique embossed details.

Many celebrities and industry insiders attended the ready-to-wear show for Autumn/Winter 2023. Among them were model and actress Marisa Berenson Schiaparelli, granddaughter of the founder of the fashion house, then Farida Kelfa, ‘House of Gucci’ actor Jared Leto, Anna Dello Russo, Anna Wintour, model Dara Allen, entrepreneur Diego Della Valle and the well-known Asian actress Fan Bingbing.
