“The idea at the heart of this collection was to look at fashion from a personal point of view. I’m always very interested in the way people see things, their consideration. Why some people are attracted to certain ideas, while others reject them”.
– Miuccia Prada
Yesterday, during the final day of Paris Fashion Week, Miu Miu‘s Fall/Winter 2023 collection, designed by Miuccia Prada, was presented on the catwalk. Once again, the fashion house confirmed its willingness to experiment with new worlds under the banner of innovation. The entire show, which was concluded by the actress starring in ‘The Crown’ Emma Corrin, connected clothes and people. In fact, one of the creative director’s goals was to observe the fashion system in a very personal way, trying to fully understand the way individuals look at things and their subjective thinking about everything that attracts them.
On the snow-white catwalk at the Palais d’Iéna, oversized cardigans and cabans, flesh-coloured tights (no joke), classic sling-backs with matching handbags and a muted colour palette were presented. The models sported a scruffy but striking beauty look.
Guests in the front row included Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz-Beckham, Tina Kunakey, the iconic Kylie Minogue, Jessica Alba and Asian star Minnie.
This collection is an invitation to reflection. One must dress, but at the same time, reflect. Wear and think.
