Louis Vuitton’s upcoming Cruise 2024 collection…
Since 1854, the French fashion house-between tradition and innovation-continues to give us many collections marked by creativity and that stainless French Touch. Thus, Vuitton is finally pleased to announce where the Cruise 2024 collection runway show will take place. Almost like a journey, the fashion show will be held at Isola Bella, belonging to the Borromean Islands on Lake Maggiore, Italy.
Before now, Louis Vuitton’s Cruise fashion shows have taken place at locations such as John Lautner’s Bob & Dolores Hope Estate in Palm Springs, Oscar Niemeyer’s Contemporary Art Museum in Niterói, I.M. Pei’s Miho Museum near Kyoto, and the Salk Institute in California, among others.
THE NEXT LOUIS VUITTON CRUISE 2024 PARADE WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE BEAUTIFUL ISOLA BELLA, LOCATED ON LAKE MAGGIORE AND CREATED (OFFICIALLY) BY PRINCE CARLO BORROMEO III IN 1632
Isola Bella is a beautiful island located in Lake Maggiore in northern Italy. It is a veritable treasure trove of Baroque art suspended over the water, covering an area of only 32,000 square meters. It was created by Prince Charles III Borromeo in 1632, when he began construction of a palace and grand garden dedicated to his wife, Isabella D’Adda. The palace, built on top of the island, was expanded and defined by Vitaliano IX Borromeo and was designed to offer a breathtaking view of the lake. Today it houses a collection of period artwork, furnishings and decorations, which can be admired by visitors during guided tours.
Now all we can do is wait for this Cruise collection, available in all Louis Vuitton stores starting November 2023
