Everything you need to know about the movie “Joker: Folie à Deux”

It will be titled “Joker: Folie à Deux” the upcoming sequel to Joker-the 2019 hit-that will feature many big names, including Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn.

Here’s everything you need to know about what already seems to be heralding itself as an upcoming cinematic success.

Following the success of the original, which set box office records around the world (earning two Academy Awards), the sequel to the film was officially confirmed last June 2022. Since then, several details have been shared. Among all, the participation of the famous singer Lady Gaga literally surprised us. We are looking forward to her revisited attitude in Harley Quinn, already played by Margot Robbie in “Suicide Squad” (2016), “Birds of Prey” (2020) and “The Suicide Squad” (2020).

In “Joker: Folie à Deux,” actor Joaquin Phoenix returns to play his role alongside Zazie Beetz as Sophie Dumond. Other cast members in the film will include Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland, and Harry Lawtey.

Todd Phillips, former director of the first film, will also direct this sequel. He will also co-author the screenplay with Scott Silver and produce the film with Bradley Cooper – who, amazing curiosity, has already starred alongside Gaga in “A Star Is Born.”

Recently Gaga was spotted during the filming of the movie along with hundreds of extras, and she has already intrigued all fans.

Now all we have to do is wait for the film’s release, scheduled for October 4, 2024.
