Zendaya, the singer, actress and star of the popular HBO-signed TV series “Euphoria,” literally charmed the crowd at the last Coachella when she took the stage in a surprise live performance with singer Labrinth after more than seven years.
“I can’t express my gratitude enough for this magical night,” Zendaya wrote on Instagram after the performance. “Thank you to my brother Labrinth for inviting me and giving me the safest space to get on a stage again. And to the crowd tonight…wow…my heart is so full,” the actress continued, adding that she was grateful to her audience for making her feel comfortable and not feeling any tension.
According to many, the bold Y2K aesthetic of “Euphoria” fits perfectly with that of the Coachella festival, despite the recent minimalist attitude approach. So Zendaya’s return to music marked an era, her duet with British musician Labrinth won us over. For her first performance in several years, the 26-year-old performed “All For Us” and “I’m Tired.” The former, which was part of the first season of “Euphoria,” also won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics in 2020.
Just like that, we got to see the incredible Rue take the stage at Coachella Valley in an unprecedented performance. Sure enough, for this occasion, the actress was also inspired by the HBO show in her choice of look. Zendaya opted for a white ribbed tank top, to which she layered a pastel pink mini-dress with a butterfly neckline, ribbon detailing and lace trim, topping it all off with a pair of stiletto-heeled leather boots
