The Blonde Salad unveils #BBtips – The Blonde Beauty tips, our new monthly column about make up and beauty. Manuele Mameli, Chiara Ferragni‘s make up artist, will be here every month to tell us how he creates Chiara’s best looks and much more: he’s going to reveal also beauty tips and tricks and all the products we should try!
Hello Manuele, are you ready for this new collaboration?
Of course! I’m so glad to start this monthly column. There are so many girls that love Chiara’s make up and I finally have the opportunity to answer all their questions. We’ll talk about her looks, of course, but there are also so many tips I want to share with all of you.
You create many beautiful make up looks for her. Tell us which are the most appreciated by her followers.
Haute couture week beauty looks, no doubt. That’s why I would like to reveal which products I used for Dior, Pomellato and Alexandre Vauthier‘s events. All these make up looks are created to intensify Chiara’s eyes: she loves to highlight her gaze.
Where did you start?
I always start from her skin, choosing the foundation that fits her best. Chiara’s skin, that week, was perfect, so I opted for a light product, Yves Saint Laurent Touche éclat Le Teint. Then, I used Givenchy Healthy Glow bronzer, Douce Saison, for a healthy-looking glow.
Dior event’s make up was maybe her followers’ fave, I guess for that amazing metal effect. I chose the silver eyeshadow from Huda Beauty‘s Smokey Obsession palette: I applied it wet on the eyelid and underlined with a darker eyeshadow. Then, I highlited the inner corner with Naj Oleari Sparling Queen Mascaliner. A dramatic gaze need natural lips, that’s why I used Nabla Vanilla Queen liquid lipstick, that dries down to a true matte finish, completely kiss-proof.
For Alexandre Vauthier fashion show, that super sexy gown was my true inspiration. I went for a dramatic and graphic make up using Nyx liquid eyeliner, that I truly love (and they’re very affordable, too!). Again, I opted for natural lips with Nars Dolce Vita lip pencil.
Last one, Pomellato’s party and a very sexy gaze. I applied on the whole eyelid dark bronze with golden pigments eyeshadow from Huda beauty’s Smokey Obsession palette, then I blended it to amplify her gaze. Never save mascara for a make up lime this! Chiara’s fave in Dior Pump ‘n Volume. Once again, I used Nars Dolce Vita for her lips.
