J.Lo and Pharrell Join List Of Celebrities To Launch A Beauty Brand

The skin-care game is undoubtedly the match that every overseas celebrity now wants to participate in. The trend, brought to success by the multi-millionaires Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, of launching a beauty brand with the name of a global celebrity as its signature is getting hotter. After the Kardashian sisters, in fact, the list of celebrities who inaugurated a beauty brand, be it skincare or makeup, is very wide. Rihanna launched her Fenty Beauty, Selena Gomez Rare Beauty, Lady Gaga Haus Laboratories, Jessica Alba Honest Beauty and many more.

Now it seems to be the turn of J.Lo, who brings us back to the 90s and its must-have perfumes, and Pharrell. Jenny from the Block’s brand will be called J.Lo Beauty and will be released next January 2021 although, SPOLIER, it will be possible to have a first access to purchase its products on 8 December. J.Lo, who had presented the arrival of her brand with a post on Instagram last August, said that it is not just a project that she is passionate about, but a dream that she has wanted to realize for over 30 years!

J.Lo’s goal is to make her envied skincare routine affordable, which has apparently earned her the elixir of eternal youth. At the age of 51, J.Lo is in fact considered one of the most beautiful women in the world, boasting unique skin and tone. It goes without saying that the public is already in a rage with the arrival of the brand, of which the references are still a secret. What will be J.Lo Beauty’s must-have products? Will it focus on hydration or anti-aging action? We’ll see!

But ROLL OF DRUMS, it is Pharrell Williams who has really surprised everyone! In fact, if we had expected a beauty approach from J.Lo for some time, Pharrell has really broken all balance. The singer’s beauty line will be called Human Race, does it remind you of anything? Human Race is the name of the line that Pharrell has designed for years for Adidas, a brand of which he is ambassador. Human Race skincare, however, will have nothing to do with the sportswear brand. Pharrell Williams said he had developed his first line of products in collaboration with his dermatologist, Elena Jones, creating a collection of a few pieces that combine the concept of beauty with that of wellness. The bright green packaging with a minimal style will contain a series of no gender and no race products, suitable for everyone’s needs (absolutely everyone!). The first products will arrive on the market on November 25th and will consist of a cleanser with rice powder, an enzymatic exfoliant and a “rectifying” moisturizer. In fact, the singer said he was obsessed, as he grew up a stone’s throw from the ocean, with having a fresh skin, the same as you just got out of the water. Will this be the male turning point in the world of cosmetics?
