A journey of the senses, enclosed in a bottle that is now a symbol of the Louis Vuitton house. This is how Étoile Filante presents itself, the new fragrance created in Grasse by Maître Parfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud. Conceived from the idea of a dazzling dancing star, a symbol of joy and cheerfulness, Étoile Filante captures this light of joy and transcribes it into a perfume, thanks to mysterious ingredients with an inalienable charm.
Jacques Cavallier Belletrud chose osmanthus, a flower revered in the Far East, as the main note of the frankness. Its smell refers to escape, says the Maître, thanks to the natural nuances of apricot and blackcurrant that make it sweet and delicate. Osmanthus is combined with a touch of Grasse jasmine, an exclusive extract reserved by the Maison Louis Vuitton, which amplifies its florality along with notes of sun-ripened strawberries. The sensory journey ends with an essence of Chinese magnolia, which refers to a childhood memory of the nose of the maison that as a child was inebriated by the combination of the latter with osmanthus, and a light whiff of white musks.
Feminine, sweet, romantic and sensual, Étoile Filante becomes an ambassador of the most beautiful emotions, celebrating the trip and hope in their purest forms.
