The sun finally seems to be ours and with the beautiful days the weekends out of town start again in the name of sun and tan, but how does our skin react? The first sun, as we know, could be an enemy to be reckoned with for the health of the skin of the body and face. After the winter season, in fact, the sun peaks are to be taken with caution and to adjust our beauty routine as well as our lifestyle in general so as not to arrive unprepared, avoiding harmful burns.
Step 1.
HYDRATION
When the heat and the sun become the protagonists of our days, hydration is what our body cannot fail. First of all, drinking a lot is essential, for our body in general and also for the skin. Well-hydrated skin is healthy, soft and withstands the sun’s rays better than dry, flaky skin. Combine with the integration of at least 2 liters of water a day, a moisturizing cream for face and body with a light texture (also in gel if you prefer) and at least twice a week give a boost of hydration to the face with nourishing and water-based masks .
Step 2.
EXFOLIATION
Eliminating dead cells before exposing yourself to the sun is essential, but be careful it must be done a few days before sun exposure, otherwise the result will only be spots! Make a face and body skin scrub with natural ingredients, preferring ingredients such as sugar, coffee, honey and Argan oil, together with emollient substances such as chamomile, calendula and green tea. On the market you will find many solutions but if you are a DIY beauty lover, try mixing: cane sugar, sweet almond oil, honey and lemon for a homemade scrub that you will never want to give up!
Step 3.
SPF!
Here the exclamation point is necessary: since the days start to get sunny, a cream with SPF is the beauty ally that cannot be missing in your handbag. Even if the sun exposure is not direct, in a bikini on the beach so to speak, the UV rays still act on our skin so, even before makeup, protect the skin of the face with a moisturizer with SPF at least 25+, in order to keep it healthy, hydrated and bright until the long-awaited holidays… where it will be a must several times a day!
