So many designers are creating a real connection between their garments, Ready-to-Wear or Couture, with beauty and hairstyle looks. Directly from the latest catwalks we got to know all the headshots of the fashion maisons, many hairstyles are certainly difficult to show off in everyday life, but they surely can’t fail to catch your attention.
We are all fascinated by fantasy, weird and voluminous hairstyles, hairstyles with a very special almost theatrical allure. For this past season and the next one coming extensions, tons of hairspray, color and unusual painting effects will conquer your hair. Plenty of brands are providing us with just the right amount of weirdness. Among them Vetements, ACT N°1, Marni and Alphonse Maitrepierre. A sort of 80s avant-garde seems to want to make a comeback, hairstyles are becoming geometric and colorful, in perfect balance with the clothes conceived and made by the designers.
ECCENTRIC HAIRSTYLES DURING THE LATEST FASHION SHOWS
Then again, you know, hair is always a very important issue for the fashion system. During fashion shows they are often able to enhance the looks on the catwalk, and varied are the moments when they played a leading role. We all remember when Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, for the Spring Summer 2009 collection, presented some outfits composed largely of hair. And again, John Galliano is also one among the designers particularly attracted by bizarre hairstyles. How can we forget his collections made for Dior? Galliano’s models paraded with hairstyles resembling real beehives, or with Victorian-inspired wigs.
