Day 9: Lollapalooza in Chicago again

Some of the things that happened last Saturday, ninth day of our Coast to Coast:
-We spent the last day in Chicago at Park Hyatt where, thanks to some lucky events, we found some last minute rooms while we were risking to spend the night in the car 🙂
-I chose for the second day of Lollapalooza with Gap the outfit you see in the first photos: Dolcevita sandals, crochet shorts and Atelier Azza nude top.
-A storm arrived in Chicago in the afternoon: Lollapalooza was evacuated
-Sad at the idea of missing Red Hot Chili Peppers Shea and I decided to get a manicure, thinking Lollapalooza wouldn’t open again on the same day
-At 5.45 pm the storm went away and Lollapalloza was reopened: miracle!
-I looked for a pair of black simple booties to avoid the mud of the festival at Zara, H&M and Topshop, but I couldn’t find anything appropriate
-I opted for my customized Converse (that you’ve already seen here), matching them to black shorts, to the same top I was wearing before and to a shirt/jacket by Gap
-With all my friends of the team we enjoyed listening to Calvin Harris (look at the video, phenomenal) and to Red Hot Chili Peppers 🙂

Alcune delle cose successe lo scorso sabato, nono giorno del nostro Coast to Coast:
-Abbiamo passato l’ultima notte a Chicago al Park Hyatt dove, per una serie di fortunati eventi, abbiamo trovato posto all’ultimo minuto quando rischiavamo di dover passare la notte in auto 🙂
-Ho scelto per il secondo giorno di Lollapalooza con Gap l’outfit che vedete nelle prime foto: sandali Dolcevita, shorts in crochet e top nude di Atelier Azza.
-Una tempesta si è abbattuta su Chicago nel pomeriggio: è stato evacuato il Lollapalooza
-Tristi all’idea di non poter vedere i Red Hot Chili Peppers io e Shea ci siamo date alla manicure, pensando che non avrebbero riaperto il Lollapalooza per tutta la giornata
-Alle 5.45 la tempesta si è allontanata ed il Lollapalooza ha riaperto: miracolo!
-Ho cercato da Zara, Topshop e H&M un paio di stivaletti semplicissimi per essere preparata al fango del festival, non trovando assolutamente niente di appropriato
-Mi sono accontentata delle mie Converse borchiate (che avete visto qui), abbinandole a shorts neri, allo stesso top che indossavo prima e ad una camicia/giacca di Gap
-Con tutti gli amici del team Coast to Coast ci siamo goduti lo spettacolo di Calvin Harris (guardate il video, pazzesco) e dei Red Hot Chili Peppers 🙂
