An unmissable accessory in the summer bags of all of us, sunglasses are an integral part of the look as well as, for many, also a real statement. Sunglasses, like bags and shoes, are in fact part of the outfit and just like clothing, subject to changes in fashion and trends. For this SS22 season, sunglasses play with shapes and colors. If, until a few seasons ago, it was rectangular and cat-eyes that prevailed, this year the focus is on anti-conventional shapes, preferring ovals and asymmetries. There are those, like Fendi, who focus on the classic steel frame to highlight large and scalene lenses while those, like Chiara Ferragni, Jacquemus or Versace, focus on a bolder and acetate frame. The lowest common denominator? Bright colors in the trendy palettes.
