A new red carpet season has finally begun. For the 11th consecutive year, prominent figures from the worlds of art, film, fashion, and entertainment gathered at LACMA for the annual Art+Film Gala in honour of artist Helen Pashgian, influential pioneer of Southern California’s Light and Space movement, and avant-garde Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook.
As every year, proceeds from the annual Art+Film Gala will go to support LACMA’s initiative to make film more central to the museum’s programming by funding exhibitions, acquisitions and educational programmes.
The Art+Film Gala’s awardees include famous names such as Kehinde Wiley, Barbara Kruger, Steven Spielberg, Alfonso Cuarón, Quentin Tarantino, Martin Scorsese, Stanley Kubrick and Clint Eastwood.
The Art+Film Gala is once again made possible by the generous support of Gucci. For the 11th annual Gala, celebrities chose incredible looks between sensuality, classic silhouettes and timeless details. Kim Kardashian, the MÅNESKIN, Jared Leto, Heidi Klum, Sydney Sweeney, Kendall Jenner and many more paraded the red carpet. Famous faces from all over the world literally conquered the red carpet at this event.
In the setting of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, we admired many looks by the Italian fashion house Gucci, such as those worn by Jared Leto and Billie Eilish. Kim Kardashian, on the other hand, staying in the Kering house, once again chose to wear a creation by Demna for Balenciaga, the fashion house that now more than any other is able to represent her. Kendall Jenner opted for a creation in dark tones by Burc Akyol, a designer of Turkish origin who proposes, by oxymoron, her own personal dark romanticism.
