As many of you already know, the well-known French fashion house Dior – under the creative direction of Italian designer Maria Grazia Chiuri – presented its Pre-Fall 2023 collection in Mumbai, India. Thus, under the symbolic monument of the Gate of India, the fashion house founded by Monsieur Christian Dior presented a collection under the banner of Indian craftsmanship that can tell the value of handmade fashion.

For Maria Grazia Chiuri, each collection is an opportunity to challenge new connections between the savoir-faire of tradition and the innovation of avant-garde fashion. In this context, research into materials and production techniques and methods play a key role, en effet this collection seems to emphasize collective creation processes and cultural values to be shared with new generations.
