Dua Lipa is back once again as a designer. The Flutur 2 collection created for Puma is the British singer’s second collaboration with the well-known brand founded in 1948 in Germany.
This collection is a tale of the Y2K aesthetic, and is divided into two parts. The first is already on sale on Puma’s official website and in selected shops, while the second is scheduled for release on 28 July. Undoubtedly we remember as one of the most representative pieces of Dua Lipa‘s first collection for Puma, her personal version of the Mayze trainer, while this new collaboration is mainly focused on the nostalgia of past eras such as the Nineties and early 2000s. The price range of the Flutur 2 by Puma garments will oscillate between 50 and 150 dollars and for Dua Lipa the butterfly, symbol of rebirth and transition, will again play a central role.
Dua Lipa’s link with the fashion system is becoming stronger and stronger, and this was also confirmed during the Paris Couture Week, when the singer walked the catwalk for Balenciaga.
Flutur 2 is the story of a colourful aesthetic, of extremely versatile and genderless garments. Each piece in the collection designed by Dua Lipa for Puma has a story to tell, the turtleneck jumpsuit for example is a tribute to one of the singer’s favourite films, Trainspotting.
