Available exclusively on GANNI REPEAT, the brand’s platform dedicated to the reuse of GANNI products, the collection is an invitation to recycling, created using only cuts of advanced Levi’s denim, collected from the brand’s archive in Los Angeles. GANNI’s design then combined these cuts, creating indispensable patchwork garments with a unique style. But what is the real novelty of this collaboration? How will the rental work? As we mentioned earlier, the purpose of this collaboration is precise to become democratic and to be able to give everyone the opportunity to wear exclusive products. Once registered on the dedicated platform, you can rent the garments of the collection for one or 3 weeks (or book for a future rental), at the end of which you will return the garments that will be sanitized and dry-cleaned by the brands. The limit? No one! You can re-rent the garments whenever you wish.
But let’s get to the hottest question: what are the products of the collection? The collaboration resulted in three unique garments: two oversized shirts and a pair of jeans.
THE SHIRTS
Oversized shirts in recycled patchwork denim, characterized by the romantic and iconic collar with a gathered bib and flared and wide sleeves. The latter can be worn unsnapped for a fluctuating and glamorous effect or snapped for a more formal and tailored attitude. In addition, the collar and belt can be detached for a simpler and more casual look.
THE JEANS
The model is that of the classic 501® straight legs, in recycled patchwork denim with an exclusive double button. Designed to be versatile and unique, the jeans can be worn in two ways: high-waisted or medium-low waist thanks to the original flap with Levi’s® 501® buttons
