Louis Vuitton enchanted the fashion system with its latest men’s collection (but not only) for Fall/Winter 2024. Presented in Paris and titled “PARIS TO VA,” the runway showcased the roots of the American West, with a focus on details and the beloved touch of luxury from the French fashion house.
Craftsmanship took center stage, evident in jewelry work, hand painting, and impeccable embroidery techniques. The collection explored the origins of workwear, presenting a sophisticated reinterpretation of iconic cowboy elements, including denim, blanket coats, Buffalo Check, and chaps.
Louis Vuitton continued to surprise with collaborations, including partnerships with Dakota and Lakota nation artists and an unexpected collaboration with the iconic brand Timberland for footwear. Exclusive bags, including one designed by Pharrell Williams, adorned the accessories.
The show opened with a captivating prelude featuring artist Ron Husband creating his personal vision of the first cowboy. Attention to detail and respect for cultural roots were evident in the wardrobe of the performers from Native Voices of Resistance, wearing authentically beautiful garments.
The soundtrack featured four original songs, including “The Spirit of Saturday Night Live” by Native Voices of Resistance x Pharrell Williams, “Good People” by Mumford & Sons × Pharrell Williams, “Shotgun Wedding” by Pharrell Williams x Jelly Roll, and “Doctor” by Pharrell Williams × Miley Cyrus.
