Milan Fashion Week: elegance inspired by Delfina Delettrez walked the runway at Fendi

The Fall/Winter 2023 collection of the renowned Italian fashion house Fendi is a true exploration of a world of class and elegance. The inspiration of creative Kim Jones came from the wardrobe of Delfina Delettrez Fendi, who represents the fourth generation of the famous family. Thus, it was precisely her innate class that inspired the imagery of an entire collection in which each garment seems to have been made precisely to be worn, as well as day by day, in a way that is never the same.

SOME BEST LOOKS FROM FENDI’S FALL/WINTER 2023 COLLECTION

On the catwalk parade looks in soft shades of colour including white, dove grey and grey, then – almost like an explosion – come bolder shades such as red and fuchsia. Fendi’s fashion show for next autumn cannot fail to win us over. Among the garments, work overalls, aprons and uniforms stand out, with flashes of fetishism that seem to manifest themselves through lingerie and high boots.

There is also much of the Fendi archive in this collection. It is hard not to notice the graphic motifs from Autumn/Winter 1996, or a series of sketches created by the visionary Karl Lagerfeld in 1981. Everything passes, you know, but beauty always returns.
