Milan Fashion Week is an authentic celebration of creativity, elegance, and innovation in the world of fashion. This year, two fashion giants shone on the runways with their Fall/Winter 2024-25 collections. We’re talking about Tom Ford and Max Mara.
The renowned American label literally thrilled us with the evocative sound of Basic Instinct, and (of course) with an incredible front row of celebrities including Sharon Stone, Uma Thurman, and Eva Green – all seated in the front row. Creative Director Peter Hawkings, in his second year at the helm, presented a collection that continues to embody the luxurious sex appeal typical of the Maison, while introducing a fresh and modern touch.
While Ford’s outrageous femininity gleamed on the runways, Max Mara embraced the maturity and experience of the modern woman. Ian Griffiths, the Creative Director, shaped his collection around the iconic figure of Colette, transforming minimalism into an expression of almost authorial sensuality. From tailored suits to oversized sweaters, each piece reflected the brand’s timeless elegance, embodying a message of freedom and authenticity.
