Anthony Vaccarello‘s Fall/Winter 2023 collection for Saint Laurent comes to life in an incredible location, inspired by a ballroom in the Hotel Intercontinental where the Maison presented its Haute Couture collections between 1975 and 2001.
The perfect setting to encapsulate this imagery is undoubtedly Paris Fashion Week, considered (of all) one of the most important in the fashion world, attracting the biggest names in the industry, celebrities, journalists and enthusiasts. This event is a true source of inspiration, in fact many trends are launched during the semaine de la couture days.
Thus, at the latest Saint Laurent fashion show, we were able to admire looks of classic elegance and opulence on the catwalk – the symbol of the historic French fashion house founded by Yves Saint Laurent. The incredible heritage of the well-known couturier was interpreted – in a contemporary key – by a new visionary of the fashion system. The clothes designed by Vaccarello accentuate bodies by enhancing them, the designer is able to tell a timeless and irresistible style.
Tailleurs, oversize blazers, draping, then sensual dresses with incredible transparencies and golden buckles, up to leather gloves and pumps with vertiginous stiletto heels.

To top it all off, almost as an oxymoron, tailored allure tank tops parade down the catwalk. One of Anthony Vaccarello’s greatest desires is to put men and women on the same level, without any difference or distinction. He does this through fluid and neutral lines and silhouettes, able to dress anyone.
