Nicolas Ghesquière‘s new Fall/Winter 2023 collection for Louis Vuitton is a fascinating tale of French style embodying the essence of haute couture and ready-to-wear. The fashion show was presented with an unprecedented set design by artist Philippe Parreno and production designer James Chinlund, who created an extraordinary ambience by perfectly reproducing the streets of Paris, including barking dogs, crowds and typical sounds of the city.
The Autumn-Winter fashion show of the famous French fashion house took place in the vaulted halls of the Musée d’Orsay and presented a collection of garments with a bold allure, blending tradition and innovation. The collection includes camel-coloured coats, leather details, a variety of precious details, sequins and three-dimensional embroidery, celebrating French craftsmanship and artistry.
In particular, the GO 14 shoulder bag quilted in blue, white and red is a true homage to France, being the colours that symbolise this country. Each look in the collection represents an extension of the typical French allure, demonstrating how this style has the ability to belong to each and every one of us.
