Ralph Lauren’s new Spring Summer 2023 collection

For the past few years Ralph Lauren has been showing his collections in his native New York, for Spring Summer 2023 the designer has chosen to show his collection in Southern California.

The garments on the catwalk are emblematic of the casual, timeless elegance that is the symbol of the fashion house founded by the designer of the same name. Inspiring Ralph Lauren, as always, is that natural beauty, this time told in the charm of the American West Coast. California is the land of dreams and contradictions, the story of a perfect mix of grit and glamour, energy and inspiration. Ralph Lauren’s fashion show for spring summer 2023 sees on the catwalk then 100 different models of different generations, among them the iconic faces that have for years narrated the imagination of the American maison.

Ralph chose as his venue the splendid Huntington Library, a museum with adjoining botanical garden in northeast Los Angeles, founded in 1919 by a family of industrialists who had made their fortune from railroads and real estate.

Invited to this fashion show were an avalanche of celebrities, but not only, also famous content creators such as TikTok stars Noah Beck and Wisdom Kaye.

Amongst cowboy hats, western belts, vintage jewellery, floral patterned dresses, fringes, preppy jumpers and oversized cardigans. A collection capable of interpreting the iconic traits of the well-known brand, starting from the easy looks are to those perfect for Gen Z. The latter were represented by iconic sportswear pieces in mashups with some haute couture pieces.

With this collection Lauren seems to have shaken off East Coast formality, embracing a more authentic lifestyle. The outdoors of Los Angeles.
