Sandals, platform and slingback: the shoes you need for the Summer

Packing time, that time when you have to pull out your ability to optimize space, necessarily sacrificing a few accessories to favor a shortlist of favorites. In summer, you know, sandals win over all other types of shoes: low for afternoon walks and high for glam evenings. For those who choose destinations where the outfit cannot be too “easy” or “relaxed” then green light to slingbacks but you should never overdo the heel height. For Summer 2022, the mood from the runways suggests sandals laced at the ankle but also all the way down the calf as for Valentino, exaggerating and enriching the laces with crystals or studs as for Versace. The trend of sliders in brighter colors continues for those who love the sporty and decidedly Gen Z look.
