During Paris Fashion Week, we had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the innovative world of Nicolas Ghesquière for Louis Vuitton‘s Spring/Summer 2024 collection.
The spectacular runway show took place on the Champs-Élysées, at a majestic building originally constructed as a hotel for the 1900 Exposition Universelle in Paris. This historic hotel and the concept of travel inspired the entire collection. As if that weren’t enough, the runway itself was masterfully created and arranged by James Chinlund to resemble the inside of a visually striking hot air balloon.
THE BEST LOOKS FROM LOUIS VUITTON’S SPRING/SUMMER 2024 COLLECTION
The collection was characterized by iconic pieces and accessories from the historic French fashion house, adorned with bombers, silk shirts, and long, voluminous skirts. Ghesquière’s vision of Spring/Summer proved to be the season of corsets, with essential accessories like belts and hats dominating the entire show. The hats came in various sizes, textures, and colors, adding a touch of versatility to the collection.
Key pieces in this runway show included bold blazers with oversized shoulder pads that captured attention in a surprising way. When it comes to footwear, the collection offered a variety of models, both medium and low in height, with pointed or, in the case of white and black shoes, a unique focus on foot shape, emphasized by a one-of-a-kind sock.

In conclusion, Louis Vuitton’s Spring/Summer 2024 runway told a new and captivating story in the fashion system, blending the art of the past with contemporary innovation.
