For decades there has been a more than genuine bond between the Grimaldi family of Monaco and the French fashion house founded by Coco Gabrielle Chanel. Over time, many members of the ancient principality have collaborated with Chanel. A relationship based on mutual and genuine affection and feelings, those of Karl Lagerfeld, Caroline of Monaco and her daughter Charlotte Casiraghi. Today, the creative director of the brand of the two ‘Cs’ is Virginie Viard, who continues to portray Charlotte Casiraghi as a muse symbol of innate elegance.
And just like that, Charlotte is the new star of Chanel’s advertising campaign for the Pre/Fall 2022-2023 collection. After opening Chanel’s Spring/Summer couture show on horseback, Charlotte Casiraghi once again confirms herself as an ambassador of the fashion house, interpreting its spirit to perfection with her stainless sobriety.
THE PHOTOS OF THE NEW CHANEL PRE-FALL 2022-2023 CAMPAIGN WITH CHARLOTTE CASIRAGHI
For this campaign, Charlotte Casiraghi was immortalised by Dorothée Smith, a young French photographer, wearing some of the most iconic pieces of the Chanel imagination. From the quilted denim jacket and belts to the classic tweed reinterpreted in its white and lime green houndstooth version. This collection also expresses Charlotte Casiraghi’s style well, the naturalness of each shot confirms this.
When I discovered the collection, I found the things I like to wear every day and the things I feel really comfortable in.

CHANEL PRESENTS THE NEW CAMPAIGN WITH A SHORT FILM STARRING CHARLOTTE CASIRAGHI
Charlotte Casiraghi, said Virginie Viard, embodies the Chanel allure better than anyone else and in an authentic and natural way. The spontaneity of the photographs comes to life in a short film portraying Charlotte in all her splendour.
