La Mamounia, Avenue Bab Jdid
La Mamounia is one of Marrakech’s favorite hotel, beloved by celebrities and politicians: one of the five bars of the hotel is named after Winston Churchill, as he used to stay very often in there. The hotel has amazing spaces, from the swimmings pools to the 17 acres garden, with 700-years old olive trees and cactuses. The bedrooms are decorated in every detail, with beautiful and colored walls and mosaic-tiled floors. Check our gallery to see where are the most worth Instagram locations!
Scarabeo Camp, Désert Agafay
If you think that “luxury” and “camping” cannot fit in the same sentence, you are wrong! If you are going to Marrakech, you can’t skip a visit to the desert. So why not sleep there? Scarabeo Camp is a beautiful opportunity to sleep in tents decorated with locally hand-crafted objects and to experience the marvellous environment. It’s going to be a one-of-a-kind experience.
Majorelle Gardens, Rue Yves St Laurent By A-Maps
Majorelle Gardens is a botanic garden recognizable for its blue walls and the variety of exotic plants. It’s a fascinating place to visit, one of the most iconic sites in Marrakech. You’ll have a wonderful time strolling around the buildings next to exotic trees and pools filled with water lilies and lotus flowers.
El Fenn, 2 Derb Moulay Abdellah Ben Hezzian Bab el Ksour
El Fenn is a typical Moroccan hotel, with riads (a large traditional house built around a central courtyard) distributed like a maze. You’ll be mesmerized by the beautiful architecture, the mosaics and the velvet sofas distributed along the way from the entrance to the rooms to make the place more welcoming. Pay a visit to the rooftop, with one of the most beautiful views in the city (check our gallery to see when Chiara went there).
Museé Yves Saint Laurent, rue Yves Saint Laurent
Located near to Jardin Majorelle, the musée Yves Saint Laurent occupies 4,000 square meters building. It includes a permanent collection of Yves Saint Laurent’s couture pieces and it also has a space for temporary exhibitions, a library, and a terrace cafè.
