Best places to eat in Milan? That’s a real frequently asked question, especially in these days before the weekend! Today is the day we’ll satisfy your foodies ambitions, bringing to you 4 restaurants in Milan (and surroundings) that you really can’t miss! Want a good reason to try them? Well, they’re all Chiara Ferragni approved!
Giannino dal 1899
Are you Chiara Ferragni’s fan? So you should know everything about her Milan’s birthday party. Our queen celebrated her 31st birthday at Giannino dal 1899, one of the oldest restaurant in Milan. Next to Central Station (it’s in via Vittor Pisani), it mantained its old aristocratic Milan attitude thanks to its recent refurbishment. Its menu offers italian traditional dishes with a contemporary touch by chef Alessandro Rimoldi. While you’re waiting for your table, have a drink at the American Bar!
Cracco in Galleria
Everybody in town was waiting for its official opening and also our muse Chiara Ferragni, when she came back from Los Angeles, couldn’t resist the temptation to taste a wonderful dinner in Carlo Cracco‘s new restaurant in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele. The detail we love? Of course, its view: there’s nothing better to have dinner in one of the most amazing corner in Milan. Plus, if we’re eating some wonderful creations by one of the greatest italian chef in the world… Besides the restaurant, there’s also a more affordable bar-bistrot.
Al Garghet
So many people think that milanese cuisine is not so tasty… Maybe it’s because they never went to Al Garghet! This is the place to taste the real recipes of traditional lombard cooking, where you’ll feel like home. Instagram is full of its dialect handwritten menus, as well as its giant cotoletta. Don’t worry if you can’t eat it completely: it’s true that Al Garghet is a traditional restaurant, but it is so contemporary with its amazing doggy bags!
Torre Fondazione Prada
Besides Cracco in Galleria, the most awaited opening in Milan for all the food lovers was Torre at Fondazione Prada. A nine-story tower, designed by Rem Koolhas, with a restaurant on the rooftop where you can taste (yes, it’s the right word) an amazing view above Milan. Do you know that the furnishment is the same of the old New York Four Season restaurant? Chef Fabio Cucchelli‘s cuisine makes all the clients crazy, but there is something else that everybody loves: the pink marble elevator! Even our dearest Chiara couldn’t resist the temptation to take a pic!
Da Vittorio
Actually we’re not in Milan. It takes almost an hour to get to Brusaporto, near Bergamo, and taste one of Chiara’s fave restaurant ever that is quite a reference for italian cuisine: Da Vittorio! Cerea brothers are true masters, they create wonderful dishes that mix milanese traditional cuisine to contemporary taste… and that are wonderful to eat and beautiful to see! Chiara’s fave dish? Paccheri!
