Apple Announces The 5G-Ready iPhone 12

It’s official: After months of long waiting, Apple has officially unveiled the brand new 5G compatible iPhone 12, and it has already become the object of desire of all tech freaks. Before discovering, however, what will be the revolutions brought about on the latest iPhone model, let’s clarify what is meant by 5G technology. The term 5G indicates the set of mobile and cellular telephone technologies, the standards of which constitute the fifth generation of mobile telephony, representing a strong step forward compared to the one used so far, 4G. 5G will differ from the previous generation mainly in response times and the speed with which our electronic devices will not only surf the net but will respond to commands (eg car sensors). To take advantage of 5G technology, devices must be developed ad hoc for it, so Apple comes into play. The new iPhone 12 was in fact made specifically to be compatible with 5G, but how will it differ and how is it similar to previous iPhones?

First of all, the iPhone 12 has an aesthetic that undoubtedly recalls that of the beloved and never forgotten iPhone 5 and will be available in standard, Mini, Pro and Pro Max versions. The iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 mini will be equipped with a display Edge-to-edge Super Retina XDR, an advanced dual camera system, a new Ceramic Shield front cover, the A14 Bionic, which is the fastest chip in a smartphone, and MagSafe, designed to support a brand new ecosystem of accessories on the iPhone. iPhone 12 will be made according to a technology that makes it resistant to water, to the point that the devices can be submerged up to six meters deep for up to 30 minutes. The iPhone 12’s advanced camera system includes an ultra wide-angle camera and a new wide-angle camera that offers 27% more light. MagSafe, as we anticipated before, is instead a new element that not only improves wireless charging, but also allows you to easily connect the many accessories from which iPhone 12 is supported through magnets. The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini will be available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB and in five different shades: blue, green, black, white and red. IPhone 12 and iPhone mini can be pre-ordered starting respectively from 23 October and 6 November with relative availability from 23 October and 13 November. Pricing starts at $ 799 for the iPhone 12 and $ 699 for the iPhone mini.

The iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max are for the most part the same as their predecessors, with a significant difference in the cameras. The pro models will feature an ultra wide-angle camera, a telephoto camera with a longer focal length on the iPhone 12 Pro Max and new wide-angle cameras, as well as a new LiDAR scanner for augmented reality experiences. At 6.7 inches, the iPhone 12 Pro Max boasts the largest display ever on an iPhone. The iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will be available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB and four colors: Graphite, Silver, Gold, and Pacific Blue. For pre-orders the dates are identical to those of the iPhone 12 for the Pro version, and those of the iPhone mini for the Pro Max version. Prices start at $ 999 for the iPhone 12 Pro and $ 1,099 for the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The sore points last?
