Thus, on April 4, 2023, the opening of the latest luxury hotel by Bulgari Hotels & Resorts was made official. Meet the Bulgari Hotel in Tokyo, which occupies the 40th to 45th floors of the Tokyo Midtown Yaesu skyscraper and overlooks the impressive Tokyo Station, exactly the gardens of the Imperial Palace and the city, all the way to Mount Fuji. This brand new hotel is located within walking distance of the Nihombashi and Marunouchi financial districts and the exclusive stores and restaurants of Ginza.
The Bulgari Group inaugurated its new luxury hotel in Tokyo with a lavish opening ceremony. Jean-Christophe Babin, the Group’s CEO, cut the ribbon with Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike, Italian Ambassador to Japan Gianluigi Benedetti, renowned actress Anne Hathaway (in a Valentino dress), singer and actor Tomohisa Yamashita, Executive Managing Officer of Mitsui Fudosan Co. Yutaka Kawamura, Bulgari Group Executive Vice President Silvio Ursini, Bulgari Hotel Tokyo General Manager Yuji Tanaka, and Bulgari Japan President Vincent Reynes. Japanese actors Ryoko Yonekura and Ken Watanabe and celebrities Kōki and Hikari Mori then joined them for photo calls.
After the ceremony, about 400 guests moved to the 40th floor of the building, where they celebrated the opening of the Bulgari Hotel Tokyo. Singer Simona Molinari entertained them with a performance accompanied by a jazz trio. Afterwards, the festivities continued on the 45th floor, where DJ Ami x Aya and Alisa Ueno livened up the evening.
The hotel has 98 luxury rooms and suites and is set to become a landmark in Tokyo’s hotel scene. Below you can find some pictures of the magnificent opening night.
