Yes, there will be a new season of “And Just Like That…“ the revival of one of the most beloved series of the 90s: obv “Sex and the City“. The much-loved HBO spin-off will soon be on air, yet we still know very little about its official debut date. Fear not though, this is certainly a strategy. In fact, the US broadcaster announced the start date of the first season just over a month before.
Michael Patrick King, the writers, producers, cast and crew can’t wait to bring the new stories of Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte, respectively Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, into our homes.
What are you waiting for, start preparing your glasses of Cosmo, the second season of “And Just Like That…” looks like it’s going to be a scorcher.
The protagonists and plot of season 2 of “And Just Like That…”
After the unexpected success of the first season of “AJLT” we are waiting to find out all the news about the second season. The series will mainly focus on resilience, recovery and the ability to laugh more easily. Besides the three main characters, the most anticipated return is certainly that of John Corbett, who will return to play the role of the beloved – or perhaps hated – Aidan Shaw. Sara Ramírez will also return, as Che Diaz, although her character has often been the subject of criticism. Could this be the time when we get to know her better? Speaking of plot, we still know very little. Samantha Jones will be there, not Kim Cattrall though. Apparently Samantha and Carrie will still be texting each other in the second season too (?)
Other confirmed actors will include Evan Handler as Harry Goldenblatt, Cathy Ang as Lily and Alexa Swinton as Rock, as well as David Eigenberg’s Steve Brady and Niall Cunningham’s Brady Hobbes. Then Nicole Ari Parker as Lisa Todd Wexley, Sarita Choudhury as Seema Patel, Mario Cantone as Anthony Marentino and Karen Pittman as Dr. Nya Wallace.
