Get the spring look with the YSL Boho Stones Collection

The sun has finally arrived in Milan, accompanied by our desire to leave the grey winter behind, and embrace the colors of spring. It’s not just time to make changes in our wardrobe, but it’s also time to change our beauty kit and choose a brighter palette for the warm season. Getting inspired by both SS16 and FW 16-17 runways, we decided to create a spring look with the YSL Boho Stones Collection.

Start with the base, applying a light foundation for the perfect complexion without excessive coverage. Then, lay a touch of concealer to highlight your cheekbones, the area right below your cupid’s bow (right above the top lip). Even out the skin with the all-over powder, that will also correct possible light discolorations. Try the cream blush that applies like a gloss on your cheeks, for a fresh, bonne-mine effect. Now focus your attention on the eyes. Use a peach shimmer eye shadow on the eyelid. Pump up the brightness with a lighter shade, slightly more gold, in the middle of the lid. Apply bright silver in the inner corner of the eye to light up your look to the fullest. Complete the look with a black mascara on the top lashes and a super colorful one on the bottom. The best colors of the season? Green and fuchsia. Then choose an sheer nuance in oil formula for your lips, pick a tone that recalls the color of the eye shadow (peach/coral). Et voilà, you are ready for spring!
