Chiara Ferragni’s favorite designer? The answer is easy: it’s Maria Grazia Chiuri. Christian Dior’s creative director designed for her the amazing wedding gowns she wore during #TheFerragnez wedding. Only a real friend could design such amazing dresses!
Chiara and Maria Grazia’s friendship goes behind magazine covers and photo shoots. Everything started with the iconic “We should all be feminists” T-shirt, designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri for her first Spring-Summer 2017 collection. Between front rows and fittings, they even worked together to create the gowns of the most Instagrammed wedding of the year. Maria Grazia told Chiara she should wear two dresses: a more classical one for the ceremony, melting Italian and French couture know-how, and a more glamour one inspired by Chiara and Fedez’s love story, especially their song “Favorisca i sentimenti”.
Chiara and Maria Grazia already told us the story behind this dress through Instagram posts, stories and videos, showing the behind the scenes in 30 Avenue Montaigne atelier. But there’s so much more to tell about the dresses that “beat” Meghan Markle’ones at the Royal Wedding. They will unveil some other details at the Vogue Fashion Festival, the summit hosted by Vogue Paris, where they will also explain the relationship between luxury brands and influencers.
