His work officially began in the early 2000s, exactly in 2004, when he starred in the film Sleepover, and appeared in the ABC series The Days. Then until 2005 he played the role of Seth Wosmer in the first season of the Disney Channel series Phil of the future.
After small roles in television series such as Criminal Minds, The Mentalist, and Dr. House, however, Peters would get his first major role in 2008 in the film Never Back Down. In 2011 he began acting in the television series American Horror Story directed by Ryan Murphy, playing different characters in each season of the show.
