Måneskin is a ‘Made in Italy’ phenomenon, which already for a few years continues to enjoy particular success worldwide. The very famous Italian rock music group, formed in Rome in 2016, is composed as follows: Damiano David (vocals), Victoria De Angelis (bass), Thomas Raggi (guitar) and Ethan Torchio (drums).
The four guys, just like the Fantastic Four, form one of the most beloved bands of our century. In 2017, the Roman bad boys won second place on X Factor. From here their career officially began, with their first musical hits such as Chosen, Torna a casa and Twenty Years. But it will be the very successful song Shut Up and Good that will officially consecrate Måneskin’s career. It is with this single that they will win the 71st Sanremo Festival and the 65th Eurovision Song Contest, beginning their rise.
The boys take part in many TV shows, among them Jimmy Fallon’s Tonight Show on Nbc. However, Måneskin are also destined to make an indelible mark in the fashion world, becoming the official face of the Italian fashion house Gucci. In 2021 they were nominated at the American Music Awards and won in the Best Rock category at the MTV Europe Music Awards, while in 2022 they triumphed at the Billboard Music Awards with Beggin as Best Song.
MÅNESKIN NOMINATED FOR GRAMMY AS BEST NEW ARTIST
Today we find ourselves congratulating – once again – Måneskin on a new international achievement they have won. Thus, in an official statement shared through their Instagram account, Damiano, Victoria, Thomas and Ethan commented on their first Grammy Awards nomination.
“Oh my gosh, we can’t believe our eyes and ears, but we just got nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammys. We couldn’t be more grateful and happy.”
Now we just wait to see them triumph next February 5, 2023 in Los Angeles
