MEET & PINK – INTERVIEW WITH LEA GAVINO: SKAM ITALIA, THE PLACE OF THE HEART AND OTHER CURIOSITIES

Born in 1999, Roman, Capricorn zodiac sign and a look that has won over SKAM Italia audiences: Lea Gavino is the latest discovery in the successful Netflix series written by Ludovico Bessegato, Anita Rivaroli, Marco Borromei and Alice Urciuolo. Lea Gavino is Viola, a silent but determined student who is the protagonist, despite herself, of an affair of manipulation and abuse that takes place right at Kennedy High School.

Her character’s story is intertwined with that of Elia (Francesco Centorame), resulting in a journey of discovery and acceptance for both. The SKAM format (the original one is Norwegian) has found in the Italian version a successful quadrature that is replicated season after season, thanks to the excellent writing, the themes tackled with extreme attention to inclusion and an exceptional casting of very prepared debutants who turn into stars at lightning speed.
