If the first image of Margot Robbie as Barbie driving the pink car had driven us crazy, the photo of Ryan Gosling as Ken platinum has literally sent us into orbit. The strategy of Warner Bros is correct, small crumbs here and there diluted over time because actually it is still more than a year before the release of Barbie movie, the release is scheduled for July 2023, at least in US cinemas.

If the bright colors and the theme of this live action movie can make you think of something dedicated to an extremely young audience, you’ll have to change your mind because the direction is entrusted to Greta Gerwig (Little Women, Lady Bird) and the cast includes names like Kate McKinnon, Simu Liu, America Ferrera, Ariana Greenblatt, Alexandra Shipp, Emma Mackey, Hari Nef, Issa Rae, Michael Cera and Will Ferrell.
On social networks the reception for Margot Robbie was popular, never chosen was more appropriate. The same treatment was not reserved for the handsome Ryan, accused of being too blond compared to Ken’s doll. Fortunately the Canadian actor has a strong hard hoof of fans who support him no matter what, but we are sure that at the release of the film -thanks to the hand of Gerwig- even the most skeptical will change their minds.
