She’s one of Chiara Ferragni’s BFF and she turned her passion for fashion, photography and sharing a real job. Yes, we’re talking about Chiara Biasi, always by our dearest Chiara’s side since the very first outfits posted on their fashion blogs. With more than 2,1 million followers, her Instagram account is like a door open on her life, where she shows us designer collaborations and super glam events. But there are many little details of her life she prefers to keep only for her herself, and the people she loves. She told them all in this interview!
Influencer, model, designer… how do you like to defined?
INFLUENCER… Everything started from there, that’s why right now I’m also working as brand ambassador, model or designer.
When you were a child, which was your dream job? Is it close to what you’re doing right now?
At first, I wanted to become a ballerina. I practiced dancing for 12 years and I loved it. Then, I wanted to become an attorney because I’ve always had a strong temper…my parents used to call me Joan of Arc or “the lawyer of lost causes”. And ten years ago, I started this experience. Today, I can say that it allows me to fulfill my dreams every day!
You opened your blog, then Instagram… When did you start to post your pics online? When did you realize it could become a real job?
When I was a kid, when I was a teenager, I used to take pictures and I loved to see them on my phone or on my bedroom’s walls and my diaries. I loved to take pictures of myself, but also landscapes and people I wanted to keep with me forever. When I was 19 years old, it started to get serious thanks to the web, and when I was 20/21 years old it really became a job day after day, especially when I opened my VAT account and started working with agencies.

Do you like to share your every day life with your followers?
Actually, I don’t like to share my life with others. I’m very discreet and shy, only the people who know me well can say it. I used to automatically do some actions, but what you see is what I let others see, and it’s just a small part of my real life.
We always see you answer to comments. Do you think it’s important to keep in contact with your followers?
It’s very important, for better or worse.
Pros and cons of being a celebrity influencer.
Believe me, I still get very embarrassed when someone recognizes me! But it’s great when people get emotional when they see me, or when they see: “You’re so sweet!”, “You don’t brag”, “You’re prettier in person”… I melt!
You often said that Chiara Ferragni always supported in your web career. Did you become friends because of Internet, or did you know each other before?
I was 16 years old and Chiara was in touch with my first boyfriend. After seeing our photos together online, she asked him if he could introduce her to me. Actually, everything started with a misunderstanding, I must admit we didn’t start in the right way. Chiara really wanted to know me, because she was sure we had many things in common. Despite her growing popularity and a tough start, she kept following me, and three years later, after she read I was looking for a flat in Milan, she wrote me she wanted to help me. Arrived in Milan, we had breakfast together and we talked like two old friends. She brought me and my mum to see the apartment in her building, that I rented, and everything started from via della Moscova. Life is so strange! I will always be grateful to God (and the web, of course), she’s one of my best friends for ten years and she’s a role model to me. I’m sure she will always be part of my life.
You’ve always been by Chiara’s side in all her most important moments in life. How much this friendship means to you?
From 1 to 10, 10! There were times I wanted to be close to her, but I couldn’t because we lived in different cities. Sometimes, I felt too much “exposed” when I was by Chiara’s side, that’s why I preferred to stay close to her in private moments, even if wasn’t always possible because we were much younger. Today, we can enjoy our friendship 100%. I’m so happy to be based in Milan because I can spend some time with her and with Veronica Ferraro just like when we were just college students.
What do you have in common? Which are the main differences between your and Chiara Ferragni?
We’re REAL. I’m quite an enigmatic person, it’s very hard to understand me. I can be a shiny happy person, but at the same time I’m not familiar with every one, except the people that are part of my life. I have no filter and I’m very sensitive. Chiara knows all these things, of course. I fight for the people I love. Chiara does the same, but she’s way more thoughtful than me. I’m black or white, Chiara knows all the shades of grey and I believe that this is the secret of her huge success.
How did you start your partnership with Pin Up Stars for Poisson d’Amour brand?
Everything started on a boat trip! They asked me to collaborate with them after I ended my previous partnership as designer and brand ambassador for Bikini Lovers. I can say for the first time that, after three years as Poisson D’Amour designer and ambassador, my collaboration has ended. I don’t know if I will be involved in a beachwear project in 2019, I’m still deciding. I can only say that I’m working on a very big project that you’re going to discover at the end of the year. In 2020, I will fulfill one of my dreams, so wish me luck!
Would you like to enlarge your partnership portfolio as a designer, maybe launching your own brand?
Of course! I would love to work in beauty, my friends know that I’m obsessed with it. I love to give suggestions on doctors and specialists to all of them, and they actually recognize my talent. I’m so proud of it! However, I’m not so good at makeup! If you ask me about doing something in underwear, shoes, leather goods, clothing… I would say yes to every project! But I know very well that it’s necessary to find the right partner and the right ideas. We’ll see!
Where would you like to be in the next ten years?
I don’t know where, but I’m sure I want to have a wonderful family. I’ll do everything to accomplish this dream… I’m starting my search for the right guy to create it with! ?
