Most people associate travel to the idea of relaxing, and most of all, to breaking routine and getting rid of the stress of the daily grind. It’s that way for most of us. Some travel to seek something, instead: new experiences, new reasons for awe, and most of all, new places to stay, such as design hotels. This kind of accommodation is usually planned by architects and interior designers, whose ideas make these hotels unique and special. Staying in a designer hotel will give you the chance to stay in a fantastic place, and it will be a terrific experience. Designer hotel Room Mate Giulia was inaugurated in Milan a few weeks ago, crafted by Patricia Urquiola, Frederik Dewachter and Alberto Artesani. Room Mate Giulia has 85 rooms, all of them peculiar, but with one common element: they feature ironic, quirky references to Milan.
