Man Crush Wednesday: Jordan and Zac Stenmarck

Why choose only one Man Crush when you can have two? As a matter of fact, this week we have twins Jordan and Zac Stenmark, who both conquered the hearts of our editors. Born in Sydney 23 years ago, the Stenmark brothers started their modeling career as a joke, pushed by a dear friend. Despite their young age, they have a very rich professional career, featuring numerous editorials for Vogue and L’Officiel Homme and the collaboration with Calvin Klein. We have no doubt: we will see them star in interesting and important projects. So we interviewed them exclusively for you, here is what they told us.

How did start your role as models ?
Zac: We went to a modeling agency on the advice of a friend to make some extra money while studying and playing Australian Rules Football. A week later we shot a 60 Page editorial for L’Officiel Homme Paris and were then flown to London to meet Tom Ford. At this point we decided that we should put university on hold for a bit and follow the adventure. 4 years later we are still going.

Aesthetically, you’re pretty much the same but in what ways are you are similar and in what ways are you are different?
Zac: We are pretty similar in our approach to work and succeeding but we do have different interests, hobbies and friends.
Jordan: I’d say that we have similar traits as we’ve had such similar life experiences and obviously grown up with the same amazing role models. We definitely compliment each other when it comes to business decision-making.

What is the relationship between you and the last person you sent a message.
Zac: It was my best friend
Jordan: He’s my little brother

Sweet or salty?
Zac: That’s a tough choice I think I’d have to go with salty.
Jordan: Salty Sweet – chocolate covered popcorn is the ultimate.

Your favorite drink?
Zac: At the moment I love kombucha, but for a night out a nice glass of wine.
Jordan: My favourite drink is probably a smoothie during the day, but when out to dinner a glass of a good red wine.

Have you ever exchange the two of you for a query in school?
Zac + Jordan: We once switched classes at school, which was entertaining for all our friends because they knew but our teacher didn’t! She didn’t think it was all that funny.

Is it true that the twins are telepathic?
Zac: I don’t know about telepathic but we are very in tune with each other. We do often say the same thing at the same time and finish each other’s sentences.
Jordan: That’d be cool but unfortunately I don’t think so! Like Zac said, we often speak at the same time and say the same thing.

Your favorite song?
Zac: I love a lot of music so this is a tough one but I would have to say “ Going up the Country” by Canned Heat. This song has a lot of cool memories for me.
Jordan: At the moment it’s One Dance by Drake.

Who is the celebrity you’d love to work with?
Zac: I’d love to profile a sporting icon and do a day in the life shoot with them! Maybe get in a car with Daniel Riccardo, play one on one with Russell Westbrook or surf with Kelly slater at his wave pool.
Jordan: I’d love to spend a day with the Dallas Mavericks, maybe do a fashion shoot involving them, that’d be cool. Otherwise, Quentin Tarantino – his films are amazing.

What was your favorite game as a child?
Zac: Neighbourhood street cricket
Jordan: Basketball

Do you love sport? Which team you support and which sport do you practice?Zac: Sport has always been such a big part of our lives, We played a lot of sport from Australian Rules Football to Basketball, Athletics, Swimming but these days my passions are surfing, swimming and running.
Jordan: I love sport! I am a huge NBA fan, my team is the Dallas Mavericks. In saying that, I enjoy watching almost any sport.

How do you see yourself in 20 years?
Zac: Family is really important to me and I hope by then I will have my own.
Jordan: I agree with Zac, I see myself with my own family and a dog.

Do you have a girlfriend?
Zac: Yes
Jordan: Yes

To whom do you feel to say “thank you”?
Zac: My family and friends. Without their support none of this would be possible. Also to everyone out there doing awesome and inspirational things. It’s motivating to see the amazing achievements of others.
Jordan: All the people who have supported me throughout my career; in particular my family, close friends and loved ones.
