Woman Crush Wednesday: Crista Cober

Meeting a #WCW in the flesh doesn’t happen every day. But it has happened. It’s the middle of June and we’re in Paris, in a marvellous Hotel (Les Bains), getting to know Crista Cober better. She is the wonderful lead for the newly released Yves Saint Laurent Beauté campaign: Mon Paris – a special perfume, which tells the story of a unique and overwhelming love. The main character is a woman free from constraints, spontaneous, and intense. Paris is partner in crime to her freedom and desires, and frames the story of passion. The fragrance explains who she is in an innovative formula: a light chypre, with patchouli notes (in two varieties) and Datura, an inebriating tropical flower with hallucinogenic powers. Back to Crista, it’s easy to see how she’s the incarnation of this perfume. She really didn’t have to perform in the advert, as she already has the spirit of the lead character. It’s overwhelming and magnificent and you won’t be able to tear your eyes away from the screen. To get more of an idea of who she is we decided to ask her some questions that are inspired by love in the Ville Lumière and Mon Paris.

A selfie. I was in the bathroom today and the towels matched the color of my eyes (a mesmerizing light blue). This bathroom has the best selfie lighting, the whole mirror is a giant light. Before that, it was the picture of my 3 month old baby.

What’s the relationship between you and the last person you texted?
He’s the president of Next Europe.

Your favorite dessert?
Crème Brulée (the moment when the spoon breaks through the first layer… Yummy!), especially if it has blueberries or raspberries.

Red lipstick and an oily salad. The two really don’t get along.
