Robyn Rihanna Fenty, known simply as Rihanna, as many of you already know, is a multifaceted artist: singer, actress, activist and successful businesswoman. Born on 20 February 1988 in Saint Michael, Barbados, she officially started her music career back in 2005 with the album Music of the Sun. Right from the start Riri achieved worldwide success and fame, obv with the unforgettable single Umbrella.
Today she is considered one of the best-loved pop singers around the world, with millions of copies sold worldwide and numerous awards – including 9 Grammy Awards, 13 American Music Awards, BRIT Awards and Billboard Music Awards. Not just music though, her clothing and beauty line, Fenty, is now one of the most sought-after and popular in the industry. Rihanna has also starred in successful films such as Battleship and Ocean’s 8.

The news was announced after a tweet by Rihanna and the NFL depicting the musician’s hand with a football sparked a lot of interest. So it was subsequently made official that the famous singer will be present during the 57th Super Bowl, which will take place on 12 February 2023 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. This will be the first ever edition with Apple Music as the official partner of the Halftime Show. The wonderful voice of the Diamonds singer is finally ready to return to the spotlight after a few years away from music.
All we can do now is wait to see her perform during this unique event. Be warned though, this already seems to be heralding a special year for Rihanna, as the global superstar recently earned her first Oscar nomination for Best Original Song with Lift Me Up for the film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
